HOW TO CHOOSE
The right vitamins and IM Injections or IV Infusions
Knowing which vitamins to take can be very difficult depending on your symptoms and how you are feeling.
Both IV drip infusions and IM injection shots are healthy for your body and both involve the nutrients being absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Both methods vary on the time you have and how many vitamins you want in your body in one go.

The difference between an IV drip and IM injection is that:
the IM injection vitamins is one shot and gets injected into the muscle, the IM shot takes longer to take effect but stays longer in the system.
The IV Drip Infusion takes effects quicker, but also hydrating your body, but also may not last as long.
These choices are your personal preference in how you feel.
A session will take at least 30-45 mins, we advise that you drink plenty of water, and eat before your appointment

We pride ourselves on giving you as much information as possible so you can make the best choices for your well-being.
Please note our IM & IV Nutrition Therapy services are provided for your well-being, we do not diagnose. If you have any concerns regarding medication and disorders please consult with your GP before booking your treatment.
IV Drip Infusion
If you are considering having an IV drip infusion, the nutrients are taken intravenously. A small needle is inserted into your arm and connected to the drip as you sit and relax making a small amount of time for you to read or listen to a podcast whilst letting all that goodness rejuvenate your your body.
By having an IV drip Infusion your body will feel more hydrated
Ask your consultant which IV drip could be best for you or see our selection of infusions for you.
Your infusions are on prescription and are reviewed by your consultant in your appointment and consultation form you receive, this is then double-checked by a doctor who authorises the prescription.

Intramuscular Injection can be done in 4 different places, but at Dharma Clinic we mainly inject into the deltoid muscle. Intramuscular injection techniques are delivered deep into the muscle and this allows it to enter the bloodstream quicker than tablet form.
The frequency of the injection varies depending on the vitamins. If you have any issues please ask your practitioner or consult your doctor
